Day 16 at Eindhoven.

This is for lunch!(bread+jam+cheese+potato+sausage+egg+ egg with mayo spread)

Had studio at 930 today, but as usual i was a lil late.(altho i reached at the same time as wq n allan) Anw, one of the first thing we did in studio was to try out a bored(board) game tt allan got frm a happy meal at macs.

After tt, we discussed a lil n decided to start on our prototype. The materials over here like wood n foam are generally f.o.c which is a nice thing to know, n they would cut for u the dimensions of the wood u need. The foam here actually costs more than the wood, n tt's the reason why we made our prototype out frm wood instead. We wanted to make a big dice tt can be sat on but we didnt have any ready made wooden cube or foam, hence we decided to make it out frm wooden planks. We used a total of 96 screws n many many smaller mdf wood n balsa wood(beam).

The workshop here is also much bigger than the ones we have back at hm n i sprayed white glue(coz they didnt have spray mount) at the spraying rm onto the mdf wood to stick paper on top of the wooden dice! Haa.who says we need to go ikea to get our mini table? (we can do it in school for free! ) After tt, we tried playing silly games with the big dices in preparation for tmr's mini presentation.

After studio, we went to the Van Abbe Museum near the town hall to look at the exhibits n watch a film.(its free entry every thurs night frm 5-9pm).We met joanna, a sporean fren tt we met at the townhall,(she recognised us by our accent) at the museum. After tt, we cycled to the town centre to have our dinner at this turkish cafe where they were selling their pizza's for 6.5o euros. N so we bought 3 pizzas to share btwn the 6 of us!
